Software
Software for Life Data
Analysis.
SPLIDA is a collection of S-plus functions
for Reliability Data Analysis. These functions were developed and used for
the purpose of doing the examples in
Meeker and Escobar (1998) . Included in
the distribution are data sets and instructions on how to replicate
almost all of the analyses in this book.
The current version of SPLIDA has an Splus
graphical user interface (GUI)
for much of its functionality. This version
of
SPLIDA will work with the "Standard" (less expensive)
version of Splus. The command line features of SPLIDA will also remain
available for those who use the "Professional" version of Splus
and want or need the extra flexibility allowed with commands.

Software for Time Series
Analysis.
SplusTS is a collection of S-plus functions for Time
Series Analysis. Splus has a powerful collections of tools for time
series analysis. The additional functions in SplusTS allow my
students (and me) to more easily use these capabilities by making
model specification easier, integrating analysis and graphics to
display diagnostics and analysis results. There are also some useful
pedigogical tools that allow one to simulate and analyze time series
and to compute and plot the true ACF and PACF functions for a
specified model. Click here for more information on
SPLUSTS.
Software for Statistical
Intervals.
StInt is a simple command-driven DOS program that can be used to
compute most of the statistical intervals in Hahn and Meeker (1991) . This program was developed and used for the purpose of doing
the examples in Hahn and Meeker. Included in the distribution is a
user's manual and an input file showing how to replicate almost all
of the analyses in Hahn and Meeker.
